Horizon Voices is a professional vocal ensemble seeking to broaden musical horizons through a programme of education workshops, outreach projects and interactive performances.
ACCESSIBLE - ENGAGING - INNOVATIVE
Founded through a shared passion for performance, education and outreach, the ensemble aims to deliver interactive music-making projects for diverse audiences including children, young people and the wider community. Curating projects around particular themes encourages participants to explore, interact with and appreciate a wide range of classical and contemporary choral and vocal repertoire.
We have been accepted onto the Brighton Early Music Festival Emerging Artists Scheme for 2022-23. During this scheme we will participate in masterclasses and showcase performances, as well as developing some new education and outreach projects.

Byrd: Reasons to Sing
Working with the University of Birmingham, we are currently trialling an online project which will celebrate the 400th anniversary of composer William Byrd. We are working with Year 8 classes across the UK, exploring Byrd's music and its connections with important contemporary themes including the accessibility of music and music for wellbeing.
UPDATE: We are now in the evlauation stage of our Reasons to Sing project and will shortly be making a funding application to Arts Council England - stay tuned!
